MODERN 80'S

This board features an 80's looking outline with a modern concave and rocker. This board gives the rider a wide stable outline with a bump squash tail for tighter turns and good hold.

Rocker: Low tail rocker with slight flip off the last 12 inches for release. Low to medium rocker with flip off the last 6 inches for smooth transitions on drops and big maneuvers.

Rails: Medium full rails for stability.

Bottom: Single concave for maximum speed.

Fins: Tri fin is standard, use your favorite tri fin template or slightly larger set for extra holding power in larger waves. Also works well as a quad. Five fin convertible is a great option.

Sizing:

Sized compared to pro model shortboards go 4 inches shorter, 3/4" wider and in the same thickness. Compared to a White Diamond or WD2 1 -- 2 inches longer, 1/4 inch narrower and in the same thickness. Length can also be gauged at 1-3" shorter than your height for high performance approach, matching volume to skill level, needs, or preferences. And up in volume and at your height or beyond for a stable easier paddling shortboard. Custom dims are always available to match your needs or preferences.
