LIP

For the everyday kind of waves you see around California, The Lip is designed to be fast on a soft waves like Malibu and also control speed at punchy beach breaks like Zuma. The design started with our team riders loving the White Diamond but looking for something that felt closer to their performance boards. To give the team what they wanted, The Lip got the WD's small wave magic but with a thinner nose and a pulled in squash tail. We also added double concave in the last third of the board to give it a bit more control in vertical surfing and steeper surf.

Rocker: Same fast rocker as the White Diamond. The rocker is low in the tail for speed and slightly flipped in the last 8 inches of the nose to allow vertical maneuvers in the pocket

Rails: Medium to full, slightly more tapered than the WD

Bottom: Single to deep single to double concave in the last third

Fins: Tri fin is standard. Also works well as a quad. Five fin convertible is a great option

Sizing:

Order this board 4 inches shorter and 3/4 inches wider and same thickness as your standard hi-performance short board or 1 -- 2 inches longer, 1/8 - 1/4 inch narrower and in the same thickness as your White Diamond.
